Wonderful flavor and yes do mash those tatties in the sauce, very good. I only cooked it on low for 5 hours but I cut the recipe in half so that may have had someting to do with the timing. The veggies were cooked through but still had a bit of fresh crunch to them - even the cabbage was not overcooked. I thought when looking at the ingredients that the recipe would have a sweet - sour flavor there was a hint but it ended up with a lovely mellow flavor. I used sweet & Low brown sugar substitute. Great to find a good recipe to cook in a crockpot on a hot summer day Thanks to the chef that submitted this recipe!

I cooked this about 8 hours on low and it turned out great! My whole family enjoyed the flavors. Will serve the leftovers over rice or noodles and may thicken the sauce to make a gravy! Thanks Lorac!

Good recipe except btoth might be better slightly thickened. Also Hot sauce can always be served at the table and added individually.

This was nice for something a bit different, all vegies & meat in the one pot so great for a quick dinner. I served over rice for a quick dinner on a busy night. Thanks for posting!

I made this recipe. I changed out the meat to a Pork Loin (Bone In) and it was to die for. Wonderful texture, beautiful plating with some Italian Parsley and and topped with Feta Cheese. Scrumptious. and delicious. thanks It is a keeper for me. I think this would also be great with the Meatballs Stuffed with Raisins. #121441 A small adaptation would be needed. thanks again hugs angela marie
