This was a easy and delicious meal! I used chicken breasts instead of thighs, only because that is what I had on hand. My Dh said it's a definite remake!! Thanks for posting this!

I revised this recipe somewhat by browning the chicken thighs before putting them in the slow cooker (use diced tomatoes that are pure tomatoes -- no added salt or sugar). It did triple the prep time. At the one hour mark, I also added artichokes and sliced mushrooms, cooked for 4.5 more hours on low and then served it over eggplant squash that was shredded. Delicious, healthy and very low calorie! It's also Paleo friendly.

I served this with rice tonight and the kids just loved it. I used fresh garlic to make mine and will cut the amount down to half the next time I make this. This is going into my Encore cookbook. Made for THE ALL YOU CAN COOK BUFFET - Winter Special Event

This is a good recipe, pretty tasty and worth cooking again. I used normal diced tomatoes and then doubled the Italian seasoning & cut out the salt. I cooked for 2 hours on high and then about 3.5 hours on low & it was nice and tender. Thanks for sharing!

I didn't have low sodium tomato products so I left out the salt. Good the first night with whole wheat pasta and steamed broccoli. The next night I took the meat off the bone, mixed it into the sauce and served it over rice left from chinese takeout with a side of peas. That was even better! Thanks. This is so easy and tasty. I'm going to replace the can of Italian style tomatoes (that I had bought by accident) to make this again.

Very Tasty! Followed recipe as written, and was very pleased with the results. Aroma was fantastic throughout the day, and taste was just right, with no overpowering tomato taste. Thanks for posting, I will use this again.

Very good and way easy! I can make it in the afternoon and it's ready when my night shift worker gets home at 3 or 4 am. THANKS! It is nice to have something he can eat without reheating in the microwave. Fresh is always best!
