Crock Pot Roast Beef With Gravy

"The meat is so tender with delicious gravy. We like this served like an open faced roast beef sandwich - over bread w/mashed potatoes topped with the gravy."

  1. So delicious! Added carrots and next time will add some potatoes, too, along with some pepper.

  2. I think this is the first time I have cooked with golden mushroom soup. The steak was very tender and the gravy tasted pretty good. Everyone liked this dish. Thanks Judy in Mo. Bullwinkle.

  3. I used a small rump roast which I rubbed with a mixture of garlic powder, basil, parsley flakes and cracked pepper. I also added half an envelope of onion soup mix. I really like using the golden mushroom soup rather than cream of mushroom. The roast was tender and very flavorful. The gravy was really good over mashed potatoes. Next time I will use a bigger roast so that I can have leftovers for a hot roast beef sandwich.
