I made this for dinner tonight since it was the first 'real' Fall day we've had in awhile.
I have to say, I thought it was HORRIBLE! The carroway seed took away from the flavor of everything else in the recipe!
I will never make this again!

Excellent! I cooked it according to the recipe, for about 9 hours. This is definitely the juciest pork I've ever cooked. The red potatoes I was able to get were not the tiny ones, and they did not get done, but the rest was delicious! Definitely a keeper!

I used a small shoulder roast, It was tender and moist. I added 1 tbsp of Splenda brown sugar. Served with whole grain mustard. Loved the recipe thanks "PENNY"

Great recipe, thanks for posting it. I made it yesterday and only had a small amount of sauerkraut leftover! I put salt and pepper on the loin of pork before browning it, and used half the amount of caraway seeds. It is one of the easiest meals to make in the crock pot.

This was pretty good. DH thought it didn't have enough flavor...he added salt. Hmm. If I make this again, I would probably cut back on the caraway seeds and maybe brown the pork with some salt and pepper. Also serve with extra sauerkraut. Ate leftovers today for lunch.
