Easy and delicious. Started it before I went to bed and cooked it on low overnight. Added cabbage in the morning and turned the crockpot up to high. It was ready to eat when I came home from church. Meat was tender and vegetables were delicious. Both my mom and I loved it. I used oregano because I did not have any rosemary and fennel seed in place of dill seed. I will definitely make this again.
Excellent, but next I should of checked the sodium in the beef broth, very salty. Next time I will substitute with beer
Delicious! This was my first time making a boiled dinner and it was a success! I even forgot to add in the beef broth and it still came out awesome, I'm going to make it again sometime with the broth and see if it comes out even better.
Mmm just like I remember from my grammy in NH. You can use a ham, too. I was afraid it wouldn't all fit in my crock, but it did.
