What a treat to come in from the cold and have this hot and ready to serve.
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 sticks cinnamon
- 6 whole cloves
- 1⁄2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 quarts hot water
- 2 cups rum
- Put all ingredients in a crock pot. Stir well. Cover and cook on high 2 hours, then turn on low for 3 hours.
- Serve from crock pot in warm mugs.
Made this last night for myself and friends that have colds. Man... that tasted great. I am definately keeping this one. I am anxious to try this at the lake this summer on those rainy nights. Thank you for sharing.
