This recipe was excellent. I did not use the bouillon or the leek soup mix. Instead I used more wine and water that the recipe called for. I also used potatoes instead of the parsnips. Overall it was great and had an excellent flavor with the diced tomatoes and all the spices.
This recipe is unbelievable. I made it exactly as the recipe suggested, and was amazed at the combination of the spices. I did not thicken the broth, since it was so delicious as is. Thank you for sharing!
I can't believe I haven't tried this recipe a long time ago because it is a packed full of flavor. I love the combination of ingredients. I also found this in a 2005 Women's Day Magazine. It must be such a good recipe that the printed it a second time three years later. LOL. I served it with side salad and garlic mashed potatoes. Next time, I think I might add some green beans the last few hours of cooking. Thanks for posting.
