MMMMMMMM YUMMY! Very easy (both to make and on your wallet) There is nothing better than walking in the door after work knowing that dinner is already done! Thanks!
Good stuff! I added some garlic and minced onion to the ground beef - and served it all on rice - hubby approved! Although it was nice, I think I'll tweek a bit next time ... I plan to add a can of diced tomatoes, maybe some corn and/or carrots. Good idea to try to keep the ground beef in substantial sized 'chunks' - as it does break down as it cooks.
Excellent! You could smell it walking through the door and everyone wanted to know what it was. A keeper for sure! The only thing different I did was sub green beans for the peas, but that's just because I don't have any pea eaters here except for me. Served it with homemade bread and had a delightful meal! Thanks!
Wonderful crockpot meal which we will be having often--having all the essential ingredients: delicious, easy, economical and ready at the end of the day. This dish also leads easily to adapting what's in the fridge too. I only used one onion and added 1 turnip 1 green pepper and some frozen corn (instead of the peas). Thanks Mysterygirl for sharing another keeper.
I made this according to the recipe except for subbing corn for peas because corn is more popular at our house. I scooped it into insulated mugs and sent it out to my harvesting farmers with some crackers (even though it isn't very liquidy). They loved it and gave it 5 stars. Thanks for sharing it!
We really liked this but I tweaked it a bit first. I added some beef base and a little extra water. I also added garlic powder and salt and pepper. I didn't use peas, don't like the texture after they have cooked for a while. I added a corn starch slurry at the end to thicken it a bit and we all liked it.
I loved this recipe! I had to substitute the tomato soup with crushed tomatoes. This was very easy to make and my boys had seconds. I put a little pecorino romano cheese on it cause I love it! I will definitely make this again..Thanks for a great simple recipe! :)
Good stuff! I browned one small onion with the beef, added a beef bouillon cube to the pot, and used frozen peas to prevent mooshiness. The kids liked it too!
