This was a very tasty corn beef which the DM, Ds and myself thoroughly enjoyed for dinner with creamy mashed potatoes and a cheesy white sauce :yuumy: The only suggestion I would give is that you pierce the cloves into the cut of meat (then you will have no one biting on one accidently - they taste foul). I'm not sure if your brisket is the same as ours but I used what we call a corned beef cut which is like a topside roast which has been brined and cut off the excess fat from the bottom leaving a minimal amount on top and proceeded as directed. Very good recipe for crockpot Corned Beef and Cabbage. The orange juice blended well with all the ingredients. I will be making this again as it is very simple to make. Thanks for posting.
