Make and share this Crock Pot Chinese Style Ribs recipe from Food.com.
- Combine soy sauce, marmalade, ketchup, and garlic.
- Brush on both sides of the ribs.
- Place in a crock- pot.
- Pour remaining sauce over all.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
I used pork chops rather than ribs and the flavor was excellent, but not very sticky. I also used a touch of ketjap manis since I had some in the house.
I think that you left something out of this recipe the ribs I cooked were far from sticky and yummy. I actually threw mine away they were sitting in the crockpot for 10 hours and sorry to say we had takeout that night.
I loved the taste of the ribs. I do have to agree with some of the other comments that the ribs were not sticky. Having said that, though, some of the comments were rather harsh, in my opinion. Those that want stickier ribs can add about 1/2 more cup marmalade and the ribs will be stickier. And to prevent "boiled" ribs, the brown the ribs in a pan first and drain or simply trim off the excess fat. My ribs came out beautifully, and my whole family loved it.
