Great, easy recipe! I actually didn't use a crock pot because I forgot to organize myself in the morning. So I used the same ingredients, just added some chicken stock and let it simmer on the stove top for about an hour. Still turned out great!

Very good. I used mashed black beans (didn't have regular and my husband likes creamy). Added salt, and a bay leave. Used boneless chicken thighs (don't like breast).

As usual, another winner from KelBel. I made this last nite for this weekend's meal. I couldn't resist trying some. It was wonderful. I only used 2 breasts cuz that's all I had in the freezer. Will make again often. Thanks for another winner.

This was excellent and full of flavor.I followed the recipe exactly. I loved how simple it was and it turned out delicious. I added a dollop of sour cream in my bowl of soup/stew and added some cheese. Very good!

YUM! Anything I can throw in a crockpot and forget about is great for me. If it tastes good, thats a plus! This was excellent and leftovers only get better. I only used three chicken breaasts because they were huge...also added some shredded sharp cheddar and a blop of sour cream to each dish. This is a keeper, thanks KelBel!

Made for KelBel's cookathon: Another tasty no fuss meal!! I assembled it in the crockpot before work and came home to a comforting, warm meal! Thank you!

What was it that DH said...oh! yeah! "This is comfort food at it's best" Very tasty and so very easy to throw together. I did make this using Pheasant (DH is a hunter) I'm always on the look out for good Pheasant recipes. This is one of them!!! (off it goes into my Pheasant cookbook.) I used a "hot" taco seasoning and because I could not locate any cannellini beans I used pinto instead. I served this delicious stew, yes I said stew (to thick to be a soup) with corn bread and a dinner salad. Thanks KelBel for posting. :)

This is one of the best and tastiest recipes I've had so far! My boyfriend is a big crock pot person and I pulled a few down from this site to try out. Since he works from his home he was able to get it all together and we had a really nice dinner that night (and a few more after that as well). I suggest tortilla chips to scoop with because it adds a little crunchy texture and a bit of salt.

YUM! This was delicious, even after letting it over cook! I didn't have baked beans, or cannellini beans so I just omitted them and it was fabulous all the same. I cut the chicken up into bite sized pieces before adding to the pot and add a cup of water because of leaving out the other beans. It wasn't really soup, but more stew which would be great on tortillas.
