This was a very good stew. I halved the recipe and it was plenty for my family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The meat was a bit dry, but with some of the gravy it was fine. I did use sweet potato because my son doesn't like regular white ones. I would definitely make this again.
I increased the Worcestershire to 1 Tablespoon, also increased pepper and no celery[hubz request] DELICIOUS! I will be making this one again. Thanks for a simple recipe!!
I left out the Worcestershire sauce, swapped sweet potatoes for the white ones. It was great! The kids thought it was too spicy, next time I'll half the pepper. I did put in the cornstarch at the end, didn't seem to thicken up too much. Even though I cooked it on high, the meat was still very tender. Overall it was very good and I will make it again.
Very easy to make, and absolutely delicious. I like to add red pepper flakes for a bit of kick, but this is really quite good and super easy just as written!
Very good but I think it needed a bit of a kick, however the three of us devoured every drop of this simple to make stew. Thanks for sharing!
This was wonderful. The only thing I did different was add 1 Tbsp cornstarch/almost 1/4 cup water mixture to it. It snowed a lot here last night, and this sure hit the spot, and we both love it. I served it with biscuits. Thank you! :)
