I don't remember where I got this recipe, but it is tasty and easy.
- 2 1⁄2 lbs chuck roast
- 10 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1⁄4 ounces dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup cooking sherry
- 1 cup water
- 16 ounces egg noodles
- Brown roast first (if desired).
- Place all ingredients in crock pot, except egg noodles.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, stirring occassionally.
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions.
- Serve roast over noodles.
