Directions

  1. Cut pork shoulder crosswise in 1/4 inch slices.
  2. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  3. Mix.
  4. Cover.
  5. Cook on LOW 6-8 hours.

I made quite a few changes, perhaps I shouldn't review the recipe!! I used the dry ingredients, onion and garlic as a rub to marinate the pieces of pork overnight. I used 1 cup of plum sauce and 1 cup of our favourite rib sauce to replace the ketchup, added the worchestershire sauce and mixed the pork and sauce together, put it all into a baking dish covered and baked at 300F for about 2 hours, removed the cover and baked another half hour. The result was very tasty! A good easy basic recipe, the possibilities are endless.

This was outstanding!!! Both the DH and I loved this recipe. I didn't have any mustard, so just left it out. I also substituted the brown sugar with Rapadura (an organic sweetener). This was a great one! It's definitely a keeper and one I will be making again! Thanks Northern_Reflectionz!!!
