- 6-8 baking potatoes
- butter, for greasing
directions
- Place greased potatoes in crock pot.
- Cover and bake on low for 6 to 10 hours and then on high 2 hours and then on low for 2 hours.
- No rack needed.

Just as you promised these "Crockpot Baked Potatoes" are indeed just as good as oven baked potatoes. It is a nice to prepare baked potatoes with out having to heat up the oven. -
I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my potatoes did not turn out at all. The skins were tough and all wrinkled and in general not very appealing. I have made potatoes in the crockpot before but have wrapped them in tin foil and they turned out fine. I was out of foil so I decided to try this recipe but I just didn't have any luck with it. Sorry. -
This recipe offers you the opportunity to have your complete meal ready when you come home. I have my mail meal in one crockpot and my potatoes going in another. It gives me the freedom to go to my childrens sporting events. -
I must have over-buttered, the interior of the potatoes turned yellow! Thanks for a neat idea! -

My pet peeve is telemarketers,Every time I get busy with my recipe hobby one of them will call and knock me off the web,and of coarse I waste precious time getting back on.I am disabled,so I no longer work,and have plenty of time to pursue my hobby.
My best dish I make is Lasagna but thats just because I love lasagna.I am also asked to bring No-Bake cookies at all of our potlucks, and linger-longers at church.Meat loaf is another often requested dish I am asked to bring...... NOT MY meatloaf but .... My husbands.
He is as good a cook as I am,He can cook anything I can cook, and I can cook anything he can cook,but some things I make better,and some He makes better...So we do a lot of compromising at our house.
