Critter Crunch

From Taste of Home. I made this for one of my children's birthday parties as it seemed like it would be a real kid-pleaser. I think the adults ate more of it than the kids did, though!

• Total Time: 45 mins
• Prep Time: 15 mins
• Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

Yield: 8 cups

• 1/4 cup butter
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 1/2 cups Crispix cereal
• 1 1/2 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal
• 1 1/2 cups animal crackers
• 1 1/2 cups bear shaped graham crackers
• 1 cup bite size shredded whole wheat cereal
• 1 cup miniature pretzel

Directions:

1. In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, heat the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon until butter is melted; mix well.
2. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.
3. Add butter mixture and toss to coat.
4. Place in a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan.
5. Bake,uncovered, at 300 for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
6. Store in an airtight container.
7. Yield: about 8 cups.

Amazing, i used your recipe for a bbq that was both little kids and adults. good thing I made extra because I had to keep my family away the night before and ther it was the hit of the party! I printed off recipes and you now have many fans!

I got this recipe from Taste of Home, too. It's great for the kids, but I like it too. It's a favorite for sleepovers around here.
