This is a dish that is served at a local restaurant. It is usually served with plum sauce. At the moment I cannot find my plum sauce recipe because I have so many and it takes a while to sort through. All in all, a fantastic Chinese-style dish.


  1. Make the eggs, cornflour and salt into a batter.
  2. Coat the strips of beef in this batter.
  3. Turn the wok onto high heat and fry the beef for 2 minutes.
  4. Serve with plum sauce or sweet and sour sauce or any sauce you desire.

I added some olive oil to fry and did not turn totally on high, didn't want the olive oil to burn. It was good. I served with teriyaki sauce. Next time I will use vege oil and add chili pepper to the batter and serve with salsa.
