Got home unexpectably late and exhausted, and had 10 minutes to prepare something for dinner to go with the ham and rolls I brought home from the store. I went to the computer, typed in oven fries and luckily, picked these. Perfect. Had them in the oven in 5 minutes. I cut them thinner than recommended here and they were done in 30 minutes. Thanks, Merrie.

This is very yummy. I made these last night and they came out great-and were very easy. I halved the recipe and used a little less oil. Since Merrie is my stepmom, I have also eaten these at her house where she used the method described in her description using the rosemary & herbs and enjoyed them that way too.

Yum-oh - My fam loved this one... I can't wait to try the "lighter" version with the cooking spray. Thanks for sharing both versions!

Made these for my husband tonight-so I only used a 1/2 lb potato. I only needed 1 tbsp olive oil to coat the potatoes & used Hidden Valley fiesta ranch dressing mix (has a spicy kick). I coated the potatoes in the mix & placed on parchment paper coated with nontick cooking spray. I baked at 400 for about 30 min. Hubby loved them!

First of all since there was only three of us I only made half of the recipe.I had some really small russet potatoes and just cut those into quarters, used only 1/4 cup of oil,and one package of ranch dressing. To make clean up alot easier I mixed everything in a plastic zipper top freezer bag, it worked very well. And since my potatoes were on the small side, they only took about 45 minutes to bake. These will be made again,Thank you for posting."Keep Smiling:)"

I cut the recipe back to two servings. I apologize for using peeled small potatoes but I have gazillion of them. May I say they were delicious! Used Ranch dressing, baked at 375F for 45 minutes on a baking stone, served with a Feta Cheese burger. I have made a lot of different Oven Fries and this one is up there as one of my favorites Thanks Merrie for yet another great oven fry recipe
