Crescent Roll Lasagna

"Back when I was a preschool teacher in Wisconsin, one of my room mothers made this for a teacher appreciation luncheon. We all begged her for the recipe! You can make it as cheesy or as saucy as you prefer!"

  1. I found this via a search ingredients on hand site. I changed it up with ground turkey, chili powder, fresh garlic, and browned the meat with jamaican jerk. Became an instant hit. Now this is the dish I make for all fall parties.

  2. My family didn't care for this one. Like another reviewer, my hubby thought this came out of a box like Hamburger Helper and he teased me about it- "Oh, I see we're doing the 'just-add-water' cooking now!" It was kind of a mess and just not tasty enough.

  3. Was extremely easy to make!! I made just as directed, and the results were great. Not only did it look great, but everyone said that it tasted good too. Will definitely make again b/c of the ease of preparation.

  4. Like the other reviews it was not very pretty. Flavor was ok.. but my family did not really care for it. It was a quick easy meal though. Husband thought just a step up from Hamburger Helper

  5. One of the first recipes we made on this site and thought it was delicious. If you use a chunky spaghetti sauce that's thick, it's not so soupy, and you have to make sure you drain the fat off the meat completely! The crescent roll on top was great, made up for the noodles! We used low fat sour cream and it was great. The leftovers were better than any I've had before.

I was born and raised in Chicago in a neighborhood known as Bridgeport. I spent most of my adult life in Hartland, WI, where I raised my 3 children and taught preschool. I moved to PA in 1999. I live in a small town on the banks of the Upper Delaware River in PA. I recently sold my small restaurant in a converted dairy barn. For fun I can imagine nothing better than an evening out with friends and loved ones.
