I surprisingly had all the ingredients for this in my fridge. Like another cook, I increased the butter, nuts and brown sugar. I'm glad I did, or they would have been too dry. Leftovers are fairly dry, so microwave on low with wet paper towel. The butter from the bread, sweetness from the sugar and salt from the nuts was such a fun combination.

LOVE these - I am a complete fool for the caramel soooo I do 3/4 cup butter and nuts, 1 1/4 cups brown sugar and 1 1/2 T water that makes them extra gooey!

Fabulous! I used candied pecans and cut the recipe in half since I only had one can of crescent rolls. Thanks for a great recipe, Elissa!

This was a Pillsbury Bake Off winning prize for Lois Ann Groves and she won $25,000 for it. I commend you on your great taste - these are really great. I was going to post it, as well. They are awesome - thanks for posting, Diane :)

Yum. Yum. Did I say, "yum?" Everyone who knows me knows that I am so not a baker. These were so simple that even I had the chance to look like an expert. Not low-cal, but what the heck, not everything can be. LOL

WOW I thought this was really good and easy to put together. Everyone loved it. Next time I may leave out the nuts to see if I can get DS to eat it. But if you love nuts leave them in. Thanks for posting this wonderful, easy recipe.
