  1. In a large skillet, heat butter and sauté onion and okra. Cook about 5 minutes. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons water if mixture is dry or sticky.
  2. Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Cover and cook over low heat just until tomatoes are heated through, about 1 minute.
