Easy to follow and prepare. I omitted the black pepper and hot sauce for my mom, she can't eat those. I'm thinking that it really makes this recipe because it seemed kind of blan to me. DH loved it he ate 3-4 pieces. So I will try this again soon, thanks for sharing!

WOW..what a great recipe. My husband raved and raved about it. I followed the recipe precisely as you gave it, and it turned out great. Thank you for giving me a new idea for dinner.

I like how the lemon gets rid of any fishy taste that might be there. I used canned tomatoes but I should have drained them. I also used Bayou Butt Burner Louisiana Pepper Sauce and I thought I was only using a little bit but whoa...it was hot. Served it over rice to cut the heat a bit.

I have this same exact recipe! I got it from my 1973 Betty Crocker cookbook. The only thing different in my recipe is instead of the onion powder, I used 2 teaspoons of instant minced onion. I made this and hubby and I both thought it was very good. The kids wouldn't eat it though, except for my son. He likes all types of food.
