I made my own creme de menthe using creme de menthe syrup and vodka. As first I thought the mint would be strong but it seems to mellow a bit with freezing. LOVELY elegant adult dessert. I garnished it with grated chocolate. Another great thing is it is a dessert where a small serving is satisfying Made for Beverage Tag 2009
I made this recipe for our St. Patrick's Day Eastern Star meeting, as one of two desserts. I found it small in quantity so I doubled it and still found it was too little in the bowl for the 38 people I had for my meeting. Next time I will also cut back a bit on the Creme de Menthe, it was a bit overpowering; but still a nice taste. I will give you 4 stars for your recipe.
