I found the it had a very strong onion flavor which at first overwhelmed the taste of the shrimp. I added extra shrimp to the recipe and it tasted much better. I suggest that the 1/2 onion that the recipe calls for should be a very small onion. Other than that, it is a very good spread.people found this review Helpful. DH and I are both eating low-carb these days, and this is the PERFECT dip for doing that! (Plus it has shrimp. Yummmm!) I whipped up a bowl last Friday in anticipation of movie night. It was gone before the movie was half over. (I refuse to acknowledge that I ate the majority of it.) A keeper!people found this review Helpful.
