  • Boil first three ingredients for 1/2 hours.
  • Add sugar, 3 cups milk, and 1 can of evaporated milk.
  • Boil for another 1/2 hour.
  • Remove from heat, add 3 beaten egg yolks, 1 cup of milk, and vanilla.
  • Stir until it boils.
  • Add nutmeg and raisins, cook for a few more minutes.
