Creamy Rice Pudding

"This is a very easy recipe to follow and has an interesting taste - it is without all the spices (cinnamon and nutmeg) that everyone else puts in. This makes it so easy to top with whipped cream, preserves, or dried fruit such as raisins or chopped apricots."

  1. very easy...I just made it with leftover rice from Chinese takeout. we always have rice leftover and I hate to throw it out. I added a little more vanilla and some cinnamon and raisins. it thickened up a lot quicker then suggested. not my grandmother's but very good for something so quick and easy!!...thank you!

Retired world traveler. I have collected recipes from many of the places I have been. Not the recipes from the local 5 star restaraunts but the cuisine that the REAL people eat! Lots of interesting stuff out there people eat! Love to try out those recipes I have collected now that I have the time. Only problem is finding the original ingredients. <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/200_PACpic.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">
