This has a nice taste, only problem I had was with the proportions. I needed to add an extra two heaping TBS of the pesto (I used SACLA, an Italian brand available here to me in Belgium) to get enough of the taste of it, and only used about half of the buttermilk amount called for (and it was still a bit on the runny side). Nevertheless, a nice dressing. Thanks for posting !

  1. In a small bowl stir together mayonnaise or salad dressing and pesto (add more pesto to accommodate personal taste); add enough buttermilk until mixture is desired consistency; cover and store dressing in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  2. Note: excellent with baby greens, or as a dip with raw veggies.
