- 1⁄2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 3 cups frozen green peas
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup pimiento, diced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4 cup whipping cream

- Prepare peas according to cooking directions.
- Saute mushrooms in butter/margarine until tender; drain.
- Place all ingredients except for whipping cream in saucepan.
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes; drain.
- Add whipping cream and continue to cook for 1 minute.
