This smoothie is good for breakfast or any time of day.
- 1 cup canned peaches or 1 cup apricot, with juice (I use the fruit that is canned in juice not syrup)
- 1 cup nonfat yogurt, of your choice (peach is good)
- 1⁄2 cup pineapple juice
- Puree all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.
- I like to keep the canned fruit in the refrigerator to chill before making smoothies.
A refreshing & tasty drink - not too sweet, not too tart! I used Dole fruit bowls "Diced Peaches in Light Syrup" & plain low fat yoghurt. Although 2 fruit bowls amounted to 214ml (which is less than the 237ml specified in the metric ingredients), this made enough for 2 servings - next time I would invite a friend or scale this recipe in half.
