This was SO good and low carb too!!! We had this for my moms bday dinner with steak and twice baked potatoes (which I didnt partake of). Everyone liked it, even my 10 yr old. Woohoo! So its kid friendly too:) Thanks Kit. I always know I have a winner with you!
With last reviewer, totally agree! NONE of this left, did I see! Even if people don't like broccoli, they will love this too! For entertaining, SO easy to do! THANKS! ***UPDATE: Made it again this week and while the recipe is good as is, TRUE! I DOUBLED the topping as used a bit more broccoli too! THANKS AGAIN! OH, and also topped it with real bacon, as that worked for me! Did I mention even people who don't like broccoli will LOVE this recipe! :)
Kittencal, you never cease to amaze! I have yet to try one of your recipes that I do not like! Come live with me, and cook for me every night... please?! ;) This was fantastic, especially with the walnuts! I served it with Italian Beef Patties with Balsamic Cream Sauce - they suited each other PERFECTLY!!
I don't use the nuts, and I steam the broccoli first. The topping is good on asparagus too, or a mix of both!! It's really easy and tasty, we love it!
Sorry but I just didn't care for this. I found it very bland and I made the recipe as stated. I may try it again with some garlic and maybe some ther spices.

I loved this! I had to use cauliflower as I was out of broccoli, but this was wonderful. I actually ate the whole pan myself over several days. Even for breakfast on a few of those:) I did add garlic and left off the walnuts. Thanks for the keeper of a recipe!

This was a little bland for me, but I usually give each recipe a second try, so next go-round I plan to zip up this recipe with some fresh garlic.
We made this for Thanksgiving and everybody loved it! I doubled the recipe and eliminated the onions (personal preference). The recipe was easy to follow and tasted great, thanks!
