Took this to a get together, BBQ type, unfortunately no one care for it. I must be honest, I didn't care for it either. So sorry, we are all different in our tastes, I'm sure from other reviewers plenty of people love it.

Although I really liked your potato salad, unfortunatley I have to say this didn't live up to expectations. I took it to a BBQ and although nearly everyone tried it, there was still heaps left on plates; and those who aren't scared to be honest said they didnt really think much to it either. I'm sorry but I wont be making this one again :)

This recipe was very good. I felt that if you used half mayo, half miracle whip, it was a bit strong. Next time I would use 2/3 mayo, 1/3 miracle whip. I also used 1 tsp yellow mustard, 1 tsp dijon. I also added some cheddar cheese. All in all, a great recipe. Thanks Karen

This was a very tasty Macaroni Salad. I did make a few changes. I chopped the celery and sweet onions into fine dice. I used a green pepper instead of red, and I used about 20 olives. I used more mayonnaise as it seemed to get absorbed during sitting time. I omitted the relish, as we don't care for it, and I skipped the bacon, personal preference. It's a basic recipe, that you can change around to your own liking. Thanks for posting for us Karen!

My sister made this recipe for a BBQ the other day and it was really good. Very much like the German deli macaroni salad I remember from way back when. I know my sister never had the chance to add the bacon at the last minute, and went with about half the amount of pickle relish and plain Hellman's mayo - no Miracle Whip. Using a dijon mustard (I used Grey Poupon) yields a much nicer result, too. SUPER SIMPLE to prepare. I will DEFINITELY make this a staple item in my BBQ repetoire. Thanks so much!!!

I followed the recipe exactly as given and had many compliments. I used Barilla macaroni because it has a textured surface and it holds the dressing well. I also washed the pasta in cold water after cooking and then refrigerated it so the dressing wouldn't absorb as quickly. Thanks for sharing
