Nice rich, and creamy. Love the addition of green onions to the flavor and look.
- 1 egg
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked & drained
- 8 slices American cheese
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- fresh ground pepper
- minced green onion
- In large sauce pan beat eggs and milk. Stir in macaroni and cheese.
- Cook and stir well over low heat until cheese melts and sauce is thick.
- DO NOT BOIL.
- Stir in salt and pepper.
- Pour in dish and garnish with onions.
