This recipe comes from the Chocolate Biscuit Tearoom Cookbook in Trussville, AL. This sounds too easy!
- 1 baked pastry shells (8 or 9 ounce)
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1⁄2 cup lemon juice
- 2 cups Cool Whip or 2 cups sweetened whipped cream
- In bowl, beat egg yolks with sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice.
- Pour intro pastry shell and bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
- Cool, chill and then spread with Cool Whip/whipped cream.
