This recipe is a family tradition. Every time I take this to a party, I am bombarded with people wanting the recipe.I have even won over people who thought they hated avacados.
- 1 medium avocado (soft)
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- garlic salt (I go nuts here)
- 1 dash pickle juice
- Cut avacado and place the inner fruit in a bowl.
- Throw out skin and seed.
- Mash fruit then add all ingredients, including garlic to taste.
- mix and chill.
- Serve with crackers or chips.
If you think you don't like avocados, then this dip is for you. It is delicious and doesn't taste like avocados. Kids love it with tortilla chips.
