These were a hit! Used my neighbors as taste testers and they LOVED them! Had to give them the recipe. : ) Easy to make and better than banana bread for sharing! I didn't have orange zest so I used orange extract in the cookies and then decided to use orange extract instead of vanilla in the frosting too. Great choice! I used a cookie scoop and they were all so uniform. I had to refrigerate the dough in between batches, but they still baked great. Thanks so much for a recipe that uses over ripe bananas. I needed something more than just banana bread! Keeping this recipe for the Family Recipe book!

This was better than what everyone else said they were! They are amazing! I made mine with the addition of semi-sweet chocolate chips and that just kicked it up a notch. I made a few of the cookies without the semi-sweet choco chips and they were still worth all 5 stars. I will be making this again and again!
