Wonderful on any tossed salad.
- 1⁄4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1⁄2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend for 1 minute.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
I won't eat salad if the dressing is store bought...Dressing is the key and yours is perfect.. Thank You!

I didn't make any changes and have made it twice now.
This time I made it a bit different. I'm trying to follow a "primal" diet. I changed the oil to olive oil and replaced the sugar with a 1Tbls. of honey. I did leave the mayo because I haven't found a good primal version yet. So still not primal, but closer. And now I use a homemade olive oil mayo!
This was a nice recipe. I subbed olive oil and olive oil mayo and used only 3 tbsp of the powdered sugar. I ended up adding a little skim milk to thin the next day. Nice tangy taste. Thanks for posting!
