  1. I served it on Easter to my family and then at a wedding shower potluck at the office. It was a hugh hit both places. It's definitely a keeper!

  2. As a newly diagnosed diabetic, I am desperately searching for recipes I can now eat. This one was really easy to make and tastes fantastic too. My husband even loves it more than I do and he can't wait until I make it again! Thanks!

  3. A Very flavorful and colorful salad....I like the idea of sugar-free pudding, rather then whipped cream. Was a big hit at the potluck dinner!!

  4. Sounds like a wonderful salad for a group of weight watchers and for my diabetic husband.

  5. I took this salad to an Easter brunch, and it was a big hit! My husband is diabetic, so it was healthy for him to eat. My mom has copied it and given it to many of her friends.

Tweaks

  1. This is good. You can also substitute the pudding for vanilla yogurt. That's what I use for a healthier dessert.

  2. Great recipe! I modified it a little bit based on fruit that wasn't in season here. I omitted the bananas because I don't really care for them in fruit salad. I used apples, pineapple, frozen sliced strawberries and frozen wild blueberries instead of the grapes. I also used sliced almonds instead of pecans simply because I had them on hand. Tates great! Not exactly pretty once you add the pudding mixture to it, but it definitely tastes wonderful!

  3. I made this for a family gathering and everyone wanted the recipe so they could make their own. I made one small change and substituted blueberries for the grapes.

  4. Was looking for a good guilt-free fruit salad for Christmas dinner, and I found it! I used a can of tart red cherries instead of strawberries (the strawberries at my local grocery weren't worth a darn). I especially like the way you make the sauce. Very easy and very good!

  5. This was on my baby shower menu, it was a big hit, everyone asked for the recipe. I did use blueberries instead of the apples and left out the nuts. I also used regular french vanilla instant pudding. Thanks for an awesome recipe.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 11 years now. We live on 40 acres and have 6 dogs and 4 Tennessee Walkers. We both work a lot of hours so there is never enough time in a day to get everything done. I absolutely love the outdoors. I also enjoy lifting weights, reading and playing with all of my beautiful animals. I absolutely love, love and love to cook. I like to cook a variety of things and also like love to bake. I like to just get in the kitchen and experiment with different things. If something does not turn out for me such as pie crust or gravy I will keep trying until I can make it work. Only problem is, when I finally make it work it may not work again the time after that. It is fun though and I do consider myself a pretty good cook for the most part. I also love slow cooker recipes. Those are my most favorite in the winter months.
