Adopted from the RecipeZaar account. I haven't made these yet.
- 3 cups skim milk
- 1⁄2 cup sugar, plus
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup egg substitute
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Whisk together all ingredients.
- Pour into a 2 liter casserole dish.
- Bake in a water bath at 350 for 40 minute.
Wow! I am so glad I found this recipe. I LOVE custard but cannot afford the calories, with this I can. This recipe was just as good if not better than my other favorite calorie laden custard recipe. Thanks so much for sharing I will be making this often.
