Creamy Cran-Raspberry Jello Salad

This is Mom's recipe, made wtih sour cream. It is a delight for the holidays. It can be served as a side dish, fruit dish, or dessert. Cooking time includes an estimated refrigeration time to set.

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, gently beat all ingredients with electric mixer, until smooth.
  2. Pour into serving bowl and refrigerate several hours, until firm.

Thanks for the good recipe! I add a can of cherry pie filling - and often half it, eating one half that night and freezing the rest...

It seems that most cran-raspberry jello salads have pineapple in them. Although I have always liked them, my pineapple hating DD would never touch them. This recipe went perfectly with our turkey dinner this Thanksgiving and everyone was able to enjoy it. I followed the recipe exactly, except I did add a few chopped pecans for an added crunch. It was delicious and EVERYONE loved it! It is so easy and has that perfect balance of sweet/tart flavors. Thanks Stephanie for a new favorite that we ALL love.
