My mother has made this recipe for years. I don't know where it came from, but it is really easy and so much better than frosting from a can.
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 ounces hershey's baking chocolate
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Melt butter in small sauce pan. Add chocolate and stir constantly over very low heat until melted.
- Pour into a small mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients. Beat until well blended.
- Chill until spreading consistancy.
