The chicken was wonderfully tender, but I didn't like the flavor of the onion soup (2 stars from me); my husband did enjoy it (4 stars from him). Also, I thought the dish was too creamy. Maybe I'll add more rice next time and flavor the chicken with just the salt and pepper.

My hubby and I liked this dish. I added some sauteed chopped celery. I added one cup of water and simmered it on top of the stove until the rice was done. The flavor was very good. Thanks for sharing Bec!

I have to give this 5 stars. I don't usualy like cream style soup recipes but this is exceptional. I added some sliced mushrooms and french fried onions on top. I am not sure if some of the rice never got soft or it got hard again but it was no problem it was only a little bit around the sides.

This is very good. I did adapt the recipe. I didn't have any chicken but I had some pork chops in the freezer. It's very good with pork and I can't wait to try it with chicken. I will make it again.
