Creamy Chicken Bake

"I found this recipe on the Campbell's website and make it at least once a month. It is chicken breasts topped with a creamy sauce and breadcrumb topping. I also double the topping, because we like it so much. I prefer to use Cream of Mushroom soup instead of Cream of broccoli, but any cream soup will probably work."

  • Place the chicken in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch shallow baking dish. Mix the soup, milk, garlic powder and mushrooms in a medium bowl and pour over the chicken.
  • Mix the cheese and bread crumbs with the butter in a small bowl and sprinkle over the soup mixture.
  • Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

  1. I made it for supper tonight, it was alright. I didn't have cream of broccoli so I used cream of chicken instead and I didn't use mushrooms. It reminded me of the chicken and stuffing recipe you can find on the back of the Stovetop box except not quite as good.
