Wonderful! Funny, I find recipes that require lots of prep and look so incredible and my family is so-so about them. Then, this one WOW's them! Only took about 10 minutes to throw together. Well, I guess that works for me! :)
I used 2% evap milk, low fat cr. of mushroom, light cream cheese, and tossed in equal parts cheddar and motz. and it still turned out perfectly. Would be good with mushrooms and peas as a different taste too, they said, but this was a hit. I put it in separate smaller dishes since it was for 3 people.
Thanks so much!

My kids are picky, but they both really loved this dish. It was very easy to make, and it is easily customized to your own tastes.

Terrific all in one meal. I used fat free evaporated milk, and reduced-fat versions of the cream cheese and soup. I stirred an additional handful of cheese into the casserole before baking. I had a 16-oz bag of those vegetables, so I used the whole bag. Because I had the extra veggies and cheese, I added a bit extra water. I'll be calling on this recipe again. I would even try this with ham in place of the chicken. Thanx!

Super easy to put together! Fairly simple ingredients and only a few steps. Very simple yet tasty, even though I added a few extra steps and subbed Amy's Organic Cream of Mushroom instead of cream of Chicken. I took someone's sugguestion of using chicken broth instead of water (actually I poached my chicken in broth and then used that broth in the recipe). And I used the rest of that broth to cook my brown rice, then added the cooked brown into the casserole. I also added more seasoning to my taste.
It was yummy! We will be having this for dinner again next week already. :0) Btw, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my husband thinks it needs more seasoning, so next time I will add more ofcourse!

This is a TNT family favorite at our house. I have a very picky eater who likes this without the veggies while the rest of us love it loaded with broccoli. To please everybody, I usually make this in two baking dishes and omit the veggies in one. It is also very convenient. I often put it together in the morning on days when I work late so that DH and the children can bake it for their evening meal. One thing I do differently is that I do not use instant rice, rather cook regular long grain rice and mix it into the casserole. I also use chicken broth rather than water and give it a shake of celery salt. Thanks for a family pleaser :)
