Dienia, we really enjoyed this, and the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars was because I did battle a little with the directions (and I hope it wasnt just me being thick! :) ) First off, should the chicken and onion go into the casserole raw, or be cooked off a bit first? I went for cooking off a bit first. I didnt understand step 6 at the time, but as I write my review I have suddenly realised what happened -- I was going to say you didnt mention the cream in the directions, I now realise that in ingredients it says light cream, in the directions it says 1/2 and 1/2 we dont call it 1/2 and 1/2 here, so that confused me! At the time though, I did do exactly that, add the cream to the other ingredients. Other than that, I did follow the recipe exactly, and it was really tasty, we enjoyed it very much! Thank you for posting, I would make this pleasing casserole again. made and enjoyed For Your Consideration tag game.

  1. layer green beans
  2. onion
  3. chicken
  4. mushrooms
  5. dot with butter
  6. mix stock 1/2 and 1/2 vermouth and mustard and cornstarch
  7. pour over beans
  8. cover bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees
  9. uncover.
  10. top with cheese
  11. bake 10 minutes more til thick and bubbly.
