Creamy Cheese Noodles

- 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti or (8 ounce) package fettuccine pasta
- 4 ounces cream cheese, cut into pieces
- 2 -4 tablespoons swiss cheese
- 3⁄4 cup chicken broth
- 1 1⁄4 cups milk
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 tablespoons flour
- salt and pepper
directions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook till au dente. Drain.
- Meanwhile.
- In a saute pan fry the bacon untill crisp. Set aside.
- Discard all but 2 tablespoons of fat from the pan; or reserve the fat for another use.
- Make a roux with the 2 tablespoons of fat and and flour; by incorporating the flour into the fat and cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Then slowly incoroporate the broth then the milk, wisking briskly. Cook till slightly thikened.
- Stir in the swiss and cream cheese.
- Stir the sauce into spaghetti. Top with bacon.
