Just made two batches for Christmas gifts. I sprinkled sea salt on the caramels after pouring and before cutting. So good! I also wrapped in parchment paper because it seems to stay wrapped better. A new holiday tradition!

I've been making these for years. They work well in a silicon pan, pops right out!! Also have dipped then in chocolate.

OMG these are so yummy and easy to make. This was my first attempt at caramels and the very first batch came out perfect. I lined my pan with foil prior to filling to make them easier to remove. Also sprinkled with sea salt...this was a delicious decision. Love the contrast of sweet with salty. I wrapped them in saran wrap instead of waxed paper and it worked well. Very tedious with cutting and wrapping, but the finished product is delish. Made them for Christmas, may have to make another batch to share. My 2 year old and I keep eating these! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
