  • In small saucepan, boil sugar and syrup.
  • Stir occasionally on medium heat to soft ball (240 degrees).
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add marshmallows and butter.
  • Cool to taste and stir in milk.

  1. This is extreemly good caramel. I was guessing on the soft ball stage because I couldnt find my thermometer anywhere, and it worked out. The marshmellows add a nice touch and I served this with your Best Ever Chocolate Sauce #40767, also using a recipe for Evaporated Milk #39562 because I was out of my canned. I had guests over and they raved over both sauces, and the whole time we mmmmmed. Thanks so much Lubie! Your the greatest!
