This recipe is soooo delicious. The first time I made this, my husband and I fell in love with it :) Whenever company comes over, this is the recipe I choose! The only things that I do differently are use olive oil instead of butter, and I substitute diced tomatoes for the sun dried tomatoes (because I don't really like the taste and texture of them). Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. It is wonderful!

This recipe is really easy if you make it as written. I tossed my chicken pieces in cajun seasoning and I added flour to it to help thicken the sauce. I sauteed the chicken pieces with some chopped red onion, then I added some bell pepper slices to that mixture along with about 6 chipotle chiles and approximately 2 tablespoons of the chipotle sauce from the can. You can add any leftover veggies at this point and it goes well with this recipe. I threw in some leftover chives, didn't have any sundried tomatoes, but I threw in some chopped garlic too. When I added the cream, I let it simmer to thicken the sauce. Added more parmesan cheese than recipe called for, even cream cheese would go well here. Easy dinner!!!

Amazing! I made some adjustments: less chicken, more linguine, didn't use salt (cajun seasoning was enough), and used both heavy cream & milk. I also added mushrooms, peas, fresh tomatoes, and black olives. The flavor of the sauce was so delicious, we enjoyed every last bite! Thanks for a great recipe!

My husband and our exchange student thought this was a perfect addition to our meal--there were no leftovers!! I also added some green peppers which added a nice flavour. Thanks for this recipe! **update I made this today as directed and this was truly an amazing dish! Even the kids had seconds, and it was an easy meal to put together in a very short time. Thanks for posting it!

Oh Lorac, this just hit the spot! Like Shae, I added mushrooms which were divine! I mixed up a batch of Emeril's Essence seasoning and used that as the cajun seasoning. I also used regular whipping cream instead of heavy cream and it was perfect. Hubby was looking forward to taking leftovers for lunch, but we ended up eating the whole pan! This will DEFINITELY be made again in my house. Thanks for a very yummy, easy recipe!

Very good dish. Obviously not very good for you but is wonderful to taste. I used fresh herbs in place of dried for a fresher taste. Excellent dish. Easy to make. May want to cook the whipping cream a little longer to allow it to thicken up.

Yummmmy. Made this for a date and he asked if he could come back the next night for leftovers !!(I doubled it). It's so easy but truly tastes like a dish from one of my favorite cajun restaurants. Thanks!

SPECTACULAR!!! This blend of spicy, creamy, pasta, veg and chicken is heaven on your plate. Everything melds together perfectly! Best of all the directions are easy to follow and it cooks up in no time flat. For an impressive meal that is good enough for company and quick as well, this is the ticket! I want to make this again VERY soon. I may try to sub the chicken with shrimp and add a splash of white wine, but it is absolute perfection as is, so who knows? Why mess with a great recipe!

Great; however, substitute with fresh tomatoes for the dry tomatoes.
