Creamy Avocado Toast
- Cut the avocado in half, lengthways and remove the stone. Scoop out the soft flesh with a teaspoon, put it into a small basin, and mash to a soft cream. Season with the salt and pepper.
- Toast the bread on both sides, spread one side with butter, then spread the avocado cream thickly on the top. Eat while the toast is hot.
Thanks for posting hectorthebat. It was a great reminder to have avocado toast. I made as written and it was delicious. Next time I may add some lime juice as well. It was creamy and chunky at the same time as my avocado was large. The butter gave it some saltiness. Salting and peppering is a must for flavor but taste before you add too much salt due to the butter. Great simple snack.
