I made this for our after dinner dessert and thought the taste was WONDERFUL...I used a Betty Crocker cake mix and it turned out just fine...My kids couldn't get enough of it!...Thanks,Michelle,I will definately be making this again.

I made this for Mother's Day dessert and I have to say I wasn't real confident in it at first. I'm in Canada, so our cake mixes are in grams, not ounces, and we only have one size (approx. 518 grams) so that's what I used. I wasn't sure if it was turning out right, the mix was very grainy and the directions didn't state whether or not to press down in the pan or just leave as is. I pressed it down lightly, hoping I made the right decision! The recipe also doesn't say when to add the cinnamon, which really wasn't a problem as my entire family loves cinnamon, so I added it to both the base mixture and the egg/sour cream mix. It came out of the oven very "beige" looking (according to DD) and I really wasn't too sure about it myself! But everyone LOVED it! Very tasty, and I think I did right by patting down the base. I'll definitely make this again. Thanks for posting! P.S. Maybe you could clarify the directions just a bit to let us all know how it should be made.
